IS/STAG is an information system designed to electronically manage your STudy AGenda at UHK. It facilitates a wide range of functions from the admissions procedure to the award of a degree. You can use it to manage your study programmes, courses, study plans and student mobility, or to enroll in courses, apply for exams, write assessments, set timetables, and do much more. 

This is the primary system for recording studies and related areas. A MediaWiki page is available as a user guide and signpost. The site includes, among other things, information about the faculty IS/STAG consultants who can help with problems. For new users, there is a methodological material First Steps in the Portal which is mainly focused on the roles of teachers (e.g., timetable and courses, publishing of examination dates, entering grades and credits, mass emails, etc.).

Logging into STAG 

The system is available at stag.uhk.cz sign in with your login details. Your username is the first 5 letters of your surname and 2 letters from your given name + 1 digit (e.g. surnana1) which you will receive after being admitted, in an email asking you to submit your application for a UHK ID card.

To keep all important study information at your fingertips, the IS STAG Mobile app will come in handy.

One of the things that you definitely cannot live without at UHK is your UHK Student Card. It comes in the form of an ID chip card. Let’s call it an ID Card. 

Your ID Card gives you access to a wide range of services. Use it to print and copy documents, borrow books, establish your identity, and access UHK buildings and lockers. 

Your ID Card will be handed to you after your arrival, make sure to keep it safe!

UHK has several service centers and they are there to help you with anything and everything that might bother you, like copying, printing, logging into the system, recovering forgotten passwords, topping your ID Card with credit, etc.

You’ll get your login details at the orientation lecture or sooner. The Wi-Fi network at UHK is connected to the international Eduroam (name of the wi‑fi) project, which is covered by the CESNET Association. To log in to the computer network, you will need the same login details – your username and password that you use to access the STAG information system.

To connect to Wi-Fi in UHK buildings, use the eduroam network. Log in using your secondary account, which is intended exclusively for this purpose.

You can create the account only when connected to UHK’s internal network, for example from computers in UHK computer labs or libraries, via the portal: https://wifi.uhk.cz/.

All UHK students have the opportunity to use the MS Office 365 package free of charge. It contains:

• Outlook – Practical e-mail client

• OneDrive – 1,000 GB online file storage provider – editing documents on-line in Word or Excel 

• SharePoint – Sharing documents online

• MS Teams – Online communication app

Several self-service printers are available across the university. They can also scan documents and send them to your email. To use these services, you need a valid UHK student ID card with sufficient credit. After logging in, you can find detailed instructions in the manual on where and how to copy, print for a fee, or scan free of charge.

Topping up your card

You can add credit to your card at the service centres in Buildings A and B, where the minimum top-up amount is CZK 20, or at the top-up station on the first floor of Building A next to the printer, where the minimum amount is CZK 100.

It is better to top up smaller amounts, as any unused balance on the card is non-refundable.

nextbike Shared Bikes

If you do not own a bike, you can use the nextbike bike-sharing service. It offers an environmentally friendly way to travel and, thanks to its conveniently located stations, makes it easy to move between university buildings.

You can find nextbike stations:

• in front of Building E,
• in front of Building K at the Palachova Halls of Residence.
