In 2024, the UHK was ranked 351–400 internationally.

THE Emerging Economies

The Times Higher Education Emerging Economies University Rankings 2022 includes only institutions in countries classified by the London Stock Exchange’s FTSE Group as “advanced emerging”, “secondary emerging”, or “frontier”. UHK was ranked 401–500th internationally.

ShanghaiRankingShanghaiRanking Global Ranking of Academic Subjects: Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences

A separate ranking for individual scientific fields has been published since 2009. In the field of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, we ranked alongside two other Czech universities, Charles University and Palacký University in Olomouc, among 1,900 evaluated institutions.

The evaluation is conducted across a total of 55 disciplines grouped into five areas: Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Social Sciences. The University of Hradec Králové first appeared in the rankings in 2022, and in 2024, we once again secured a shared position in the 401st–500th bracket in the field of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences.

UI Green Metric

Our university is also regularly ranked in the UI Green Metric ranking. For the year 2024, we rank 527th globally and 5th within the Czech Republic. The ranking informs about the efforts of individual universities to be ecologically sustainable institutions. It is based on the evaluation of several criteria, including education and research related to the environment, infrastructure, energy consumption, energy saving, water management, waste management, and others.
