Welcome!

We offer a number of opportunities for international exchange students. By pursuing studies at the University of Hradec Králové you will have the opportunity of becoming a part of our international student community as Hradec Králové itself is an international meeting point. Foreign students coming from all over the world create an inspiring multicultural atmosphere. Czech students and their colleagues from both near and distant foreign countries meet at lectures and seminars and during their leisure time, and thus they benefit from the countless advantages of intercultural encounters: international contacts broaden the students’ horizons, they facilitate perception and understanding of both similarities and differences between cultures, and they offer unique opportunity for foreign language skills improvement. Exchange students usually study at the University of Hradec Králové for one or two semesters.

Incoming students from all our partner universities are invited to register for courses taught in the English language. Whether a student participates within the Erasmus+ Programme, or any other exchange programme, he/she may opt for a vast selection of courses. Incoming students choose courses of their receiving faculty. However, it is possible to register for courses of other faculties as well. Partner Universities

The University of Hradec Králové is proud to be a partner with many universities all over the world. The highest number of agreements is within Erasmus+ Programme with Partner Countries. (Please note that there are numbers for our outgoing students. Numbers and study fields for incoming students are usually the same but it may vary. In case of doubts please consult it with your Erasmus+ Coordinator.) Then we also have special agreements with Partner Countries (i.e. Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility). And last but not least there is a set of Cooperation Agreements in the field of education, science and research with partners all over the world.
