General Information

As a foreign student, you are warmly welcomed to the Philosophical Faculty, in the University of Hradec Králové.

Our academic year has two semesters: the winter semester and the summer semester. The winter semester starts in the second part of September and ends at the beginning of February, the summer semester starts in early February and ends in June.

We host around 50-80 international students every semester - Erasmus European students, students from the International Credit Mobility (= Erasmus outside Europe),  Non-European exchange students on the basis of bilateral agreements and full-time students in a regular programme. Please respect the application deadlines – look at your study programme (select the study programme on the left side of this page).

Our international team has five members:

  • (Erasmus incoming students for studies, Erasmus staff mobilities, degree programmes in English);

 

The International Office is on the 3rd floor of the building B.

Every year, Philosophical Faculty cooperates with elementary school ZS SNP in organizing the project called "Cosmopolity" ("Projekt Kosmopolita" in Czech). You can find more information here.
