UHK maintains a strong position in 2024 World University Rankings

The British Times Higher Education ranking company lists the world's top universities. The University of Hradec Králové has maintained its firm position for the 2024 ranking.
The complex methodology evaluates universities within 18 performance indicators in five key areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry, and international outlook. For the World University Rankings 2024, 1904 universities from 108 countries entered the scrutiny. Our university is in a shared 1201st–1500th place worldwide and 9th shared place among Czech universities.
"I'm always glad to hear that the international community appreciates our work and that we can say that we're successful even in the competitive environment. According to THE, our university is strong in some of the partial subjects ranking, which is also great news," comments Kamil Kuča, Rector of the University of Hradec Králové.
The partial subjects ranking considering UHK include computer science (601st–800th place worldwide, 4th shared place nationally), life sciences (601st–800th place worldwide, 6th shared place in the Czech Republic), and physical sciences (1001st+ place worldwide and 9th shared place in the Czech Republic).
