About a course

We would like to address our international employees to participate in the Czech language course.

Who is the course for?

The course of the Czech language is intended for beginners who want to reach the language level of A2 quickly.

What is the content?

The Beginner Course of Czech for Foreigners is aimed at students with no or minimal prior knowledge of the Czech language.

The lessons focus on practical use of Czech in everyday situations and introduction to Czech culture and society.

The students will learn the pronunciation of Czech sounds and basics of grammar.

The topics include e.g. introducing oneself, greetings, basic phrases, numbers, university vocabulary, situations in shops and restaurants, drinks and food.

The schedule:

The course will be organized on weekly basis, will be started in February (Thursdays 13:15 – 14:15) and will be finished in June 2026.

First lesson: 19th February 2026

The place: B building, room 21170 Lesak Library

 

The course is intended for UHK employees and is free of charge for them.
