Who is the course for?

The course is intended for students who want to reach the language level of A2 quickly.

What is the content?

The course Czech for Academics 4 is a continuation of Czech for Academics 3 taught in the academic year 2024/25.

It is designed for advanced beginners who have already mastered the basics of the language and want to achieve the A2 language level.

The course covers the second half of the A2 level and follows on from the coursebooks Czech Express 1, Czech Express 2, and Czech Express 3. Czech learners can learn to orient themselves and react in important communicative situations (e.g.  At the government office and bank, Computers and the Internet, Schools in the Czech Republic, and many others). The course concentrates on mastering all the language skills. Czech grammar is simplified as far as possible, and the students discover it through texts and overview tables.

Throughout the course, the students will acquire knowledge of Czech culture and society, and we will also focus on the preparation for the ZKOBČ exam and the exam in the Czech language for permanent residence.
