Server certificates at UHK

All websites containing confidential information use a secure connection via SSL (the URL of such websites begins with **https://** instead of http://). Key UHK servers accessible from the Internet use certificates signed by a public Certificate Authority (CA).

TCS Certificates

Public server certificates are issued to organizations that are members of the CESNET association through the TERENA Certificate Service (TCS) project.

Certificates Issued by the Internal UHK CA

UHK also operates its own Certificate Authority to issue certificates required for secure connections to internally used web applications.

This may cause security warnings to appear when accessing these websites from computers that do not have the UHK CA certificate installed.
