Authentication

Your documents shall be submitted in accordance with legal requirements. The diploma and transcript issued abroad shall be authenticated. It verifies the authenticity of signatures, official stamps, and seals on the document.

Arrange a notary verified copies of your diploma and transcript and submit these for authentication instead of original documents!

There are two types of authentication:

  • Apostilization

Documents are obtained with apostille given by a competent authority designated by the government of a country that is a party to the Hague (Apostille) Convention.

Please check the  actual list of countries and competent authorities HERE

  • Superlegalization

Documents are authenticated by a local superior governmental authority (usually the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

Then the competent embassy of the Czech republic abroad or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic (Consular department) confirms the authenticity.

Please see the map for the countries that have not signed the Hague Convention (grey colour) HERE
