Dopracování podkladu zadání VŠKP / Finalization of the Thesis Assignment Proposal

Pro studenty bakalářských a navazujících magisterských studijních programů:

Nejpozději do 15. října akademického roku, ve kterém se předpokládá předložení závěrečné práce k obhajobě (bakalářské/diplomové) projedná student se svým vedoucím práce upřesňující podklad VŠKP (stanoví se přesný název práce v češtině i angličtině, stručná charakteristika problematiky úkolů, kterých má být dosaženo, cíl práce a konkrétní obsah ve formě osnovy práce, základní literatura).

Podklad zadání VŠKP student vyplňuje v IS/STAG (Moje studium - Témata VŠKP). Po jeho dopracování podklad ukládá a o vypracování student informuje svého vedoucího práce. Vedoucí práce studentovi podklad v IS/STAG schválí, nebo může vrátit k přepracování. O schváleném podkladu vedoucím práce je elektronicky notifikován vedoucí katedry, který podklad schválí, nebo může vrátit k přepracování.

Jakmile dojde ke schválení podkladu vedoucím katedry, nelze data v zadání práce dodatečně měnit/upravovat a znění zadání práce je konečné!

Student, který bude odevzdávat svou závěrečnou práci k obhajobě (dle termínů stanovených harmonogramem akademického roku), musí mít v IS/STAG zadání práce schválené vedoucím katedry - zadání práce je součástí odevzdávané elektronické i tištěné verze práce.

For undergraduate and graduate students:

No later than 15 October of the academic year in which the student is expected to submit their final thesis for defense (Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis), the student shall discuss with their thesis supervisor the detailed thesis assignment proposal. This proposal must specify the main thesis title, a brief description of the topic and tasks to be accomplished, the objective of the thesis, a detailed outline of the thesis content, and key literature sources.

The thesis assignment proposal must be completed by the student in the IS/STAG system (My study → Thesis topics). Once the proposal has been finalized, the student saves it in the system and notifies their thesis supervisor. The supervisor will then either approve the proposal in IS/STAG or return it for revision. After the supervisor's approval, the Head of Department is electronically notified and will either approve the proposal or return it for further revision.

Once the proposal has been approved by the Head of Department, the thesis assignment can no longer be amended or modified. The wording of the thesis assignment is considered final.

Students intending to submit their final thesis for defense (within the deadlines specified in the academic calendar) must have their thesis assignment approved by the Head of Department in IS/STAG. The approved thesis assignment forms an integral part of both the electronic and the printed versions of the submitted thesis.
