Immunogenicity, safety and social acceptance of selected existing and innovative pediatric vaccines

Faculty of Science UHK

Project Description

Immunization of the pediatric population is at a turning point. A number of new vaccines require a combined application due to the overdose of the vaccination schedule, which thus causes antigenic interference, as well as interference with supportive and additive substances. The aim of the project is to map the immunogenicity and reactogenicity of selected vaccines with a future impact on personalized medicine when individual vaccines and their combinations will be customized for a particular recipient on the basis of genetic prerequisites for the need to induce immune protection against predisposed infectious poisoning of individuals whose bodies are at risk of being damaged by autoimmune reactions or hyperreactions to specific components of the applied vaccines.
