Anglophone literatures of the British Isles

This is a collaborative project developed in cooperation with scholars of English studies from Czech and foreign universities. It deals with issues concerning national identities and self-conception.

At the current stage, the outcome is a series of lectures exploring the common topics addressed in Welsh, Scottish and Irish literature (in English and Gaelic languages). The following stage seeks to build on this research in the form of a collective monograph.
