Together at UHK: Coffee with the Rector

International researchers from across the University of Hradec Králové met again for "Together at UHK: Coffee with the Rector."

This year's meeting brought together even more participants and quickly grew into a lively and inspiring discussion. International researchers raised questions, shared their experiences and brought forward ideas and suggestions for the future of UHK.

The meeting was also a valuable reminder of how much our international researchers contribute to the university. Their expertise, international experience and fresh perspectives enrich our research environment, while UHK provides an important and supportive background for their scientific work and development.

We are grateful to our Rector, Jan Kříž and Vice-Rector, Leona Stašová, for joining the conversation so openly and for engaging with the experiences, questions and ideas of our international colleagues. Such exchanges strengthen mutual understanding and create valuable opportunities to develop our university together.

And perhaps the strongest message of this year's gathering was a simple one: personal encounters matter. There is something irreplaceable about meeting face to face, sharing ideas over a cup of coffee and listening to one another.

The second edition of the meeting confirmed that mutual interest, openness and warm professional relationships are among our university’s strengths.

Together at UHK – connecting people, sharing ideas and moving forward together.
