Once again, the university-wide event promoting student mobility took place, giving UHK students the opportunity to explore a wide range of study abroad options. As is tradition, the event was held in the autumn and featured not only faculty booths but also stands hosted by our partners, such as Europe Direct, Eurocentrum, DAAD, and ESN Hradec Králové.

Both Czech studentswho had studiedabroad and international studentscurrentlyat UHK had theopportunity to sharetheir mobility experiences. Together, they represented more than 20 countries.
University International Day (UID)onceagain proved to be a key event in UHK’sinternationalizationefforts.It fosterstheuniversity’sopenness, encouragesstudents to thinkglobally, and strengthens the sense of student community.
Thegoalis to show studentsthatgaining international experienceduringtheirstudiesis a valuableassetforboththeiracademic and professionalpaths, and isanessential part of higher education. It is a uniqueopportunitythatbringslifelongbenefits.

This year’s edition was also influenced by the important 800th anniversary of the City of Hradec Králové. The slogan of the year-long celebrations, "Hradec is full of Kings and Queens", reminds us that the city’s history is not only in the past; today’s kings and queens are among us. The event resonated beautifully with this message and highlighted that Hradec is an open, cosmopolitan city, ready to engage in dialogue with the world.
UID remains a vital part of the university calendar.Internationally oriented events raise awareness about mobility opportunities, inspire students to discover the world and themselves, and reinforce the university’s openness.

Both Czech students who had studied abroad and international students currently at UHK had the opportunity to share their mobility experiences. Together, they represented more than 20 countries.
