Czech-Uruguay Symposium

Date of Event: 11/25/2021 09:00–17:00, Place: Faculty of Science, room S11, Hradecká 1285

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia) and Uruguay, the University of Hradec Králové in cooperation with the Honorary Consulate of Uruguay in Prague, the Centre for Ibero-American Studies at Charles University, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Prague are organizing a one-day Czech-Uruguay Symposium entitled Our Common Century.

The symposium aims to show the current state and revive Czech-Uruguay relations in various academic disciplines and social sciences to connect the Czech professional community regionally and internationally with Uruguayan colleagues.

The event will be held mainly in Czech and Spanish, of course, the introduction will be in English.

We would like to invite you to meet in person at the Faculty of Science. Please, make sure, you will register.

For your convenience, the event will be streamed on Youtube Channel in case you cannot attend in person.
