  • Due to extraordinary circumstances, the Faculty of Informatics and Management UHK, the Faculty of Education UHK and the Philosophical Faculty UHK proceeded to cancel the graduation and matriculation ceremonies. Matriculations are also cancelled at the Faculty of Science UHK, similar steps in relation to graduations of the Faculty of Science UHK are being discussed. Participants will be informed about any alternative dates in time.
  • In this way, the individual faculties of the University of Hradec Králové want to eliminate the possible spread of COVID-19 due to a large number of participants in these events. We do not want to deprive our students of these ceremonies. After the pandemic situation gets better, the UHK will hold graduations and matriculations in the regular manner.

  • You might have noticed that from May 11, 2020, there will be a further release of coronavirus measures regarding the free movement in the Czech Republic that also includes universities. Thus the provisions on the exam period at the faculties of the UHK are as follows:
    • The Faculty of Education and the Philosophical Faculty still prefer online exams. At the same time, provided that all safety measures declared in advance are fulfilled, some subjects can have physical attendance exams, which is entirely in the authority of the teachers. Keep on checking your e-mail and STAG.
    • The Faculty of Informatics and Management and the Faculty of Science still prefer online exams. At the same time, provided that all safety measures declared in advance are fulfilled, some subjects can have physical attendance exams, which is entirely in the authority of the teachers. This concerns mainly subjects that include activities in laboratories and those for which it is appropriate in regard to the character of the exam or the size of the study group. Because of the current situation, the Faculty of Informatics and Management and the Faculty of Science take the students' physical attendance at exams at the UHK as voluntary. If students do not want to attend an exam they will be allowed to take the exam in September or sign up for the subject again in the next semester. Keep on checking your e-mail and STAG.
    • The state final exams at all faculties will be held in a standard manner, however with extraordinary hygienic and safety measures all announced in advance. In case of any doubts regarding study matters, do not hesitate to contact the respective Study Departments at your faculty.
