This year, the University Sports Afternoon will take place on Tuesday, April 21, at the Na Soutoku campus. A wide range of sports activities awaits you, so take advantage of the Rector’s day off from 2:00 p.m. and come get active.
Throughout the afternoon, you can try several sports activities available for free at Václav Havel Square.
The highlight of the event is the traditional running race Academic Run, which honours the best runners. In addition to awarding the top male and female runners, the Rector’s Cup will also be presented to the faculty with the highest number of participants. The race starts at 4:00 p.m.
Registration for the Academic Run
Entry fee:
- 100 CZK for registrations until April 14, 2026, 8:00 p.m.
- 150 CZK for registrations until April 21, 2026, 3:00 p.m.
Most of the proceeds from the entry fees will support the Daránek dětem charity fundraiser organized by Caritas Czech Republic.
