5. PhD Students' Coffee Break | Tools That Move Us Forward (in Research and Teaching)

We warmly invite our PhD students to an informal meeting with Vice-Rector Hana Tomášková, which will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. in her office at the rectorate building.
Topic: Tools That Move Us Forward (in Research and Teaching)
This time, we will focus on sharing concrete tools and software that help us in our everyday work.
Anyone who would like to contribute is welcome to prepare 1–2 tools that have been particularly useful in their research or teaching.
These may include tools for:
- literature search and working with sources,
- data analysis, statistics, or visualization,
- writing and text editing,
- teamwork and project organization,
- research methodology,
- teaching – for example, interactive communication with students, quizzes, or audience engagement.
The format is entirely up to you – you can simply walk us through the tool in practice or prepare a short presentation. The main goal is mutual inspiration and sharing practical experience.
The meeting will be followed by an open discussion and an informal coffee break.
