Graduation Ceremony at FIM
Graduation ceremonies at the University of Hradec Králové are formal academic events during which academic degrees are conferred and documents confirming successful completion of studies are awarded.
The official proof of proper completion of studies by passing the final state examination is the university diploma and the diploma supplement. A part of the ceremony includes the graduate’s graduation oath.
The ceremonies take place at the University of Hradec Králové in the Assembly Hall of the Common Education Building—Building A (Hradecká 1227, Hradec Králové).
CURRENT INFORMATION
Graduates from May/June are invited to the graduation ceremony automatically. Graduates from September or January must inform the FIM study officer of their intention to participate.
Graduates who are unable to attend the graduation ceremony and have not yet collected their graduation documents, may collect their documents from the Study Department. Diplomas can be collected during office hours. Outside office hours, a prior appointment is required. Please bring your ID card/passport. In case the graduate cannot collect the documents in person:
- they may authorize another person by official power of attorney (details for authorization are available from the Study Department upon request (form),
- they may request the documents to be sent within the Czech Republic (sent by registered mail to the recipient’s own hands with delivery confirmation).
This service is subject to a fee of CZK 200 to cover additional costs related to the delivery of the diploma.
DATES AND SCHEDULE OF GRADUATION CEREMONIES
Graduation dates are listed in the Academic Year Schedule. The exact date and time of the ceremony are assigned to each graduate based on the total number of graduates in individual programmes and the organizational capacity of the ceremony and the hall.

Graduation ceremonies for graduates of the academic year 2024/2025 will take place on 24 and 25 June 2025.
