Staff testing

As of midnight on Friday 18 February 2022, the obligation of institutions, including UHK, to test their employees with antigen tests will cease to apply. It means you do not have to take a self-test at UHK starting from Saturday 19 February 2022. Therefore, I kindly ask you to fill in the online form of your last testing by Friday midnight. It will not be able to record the result as the online form will be shut down the very next day. Please, make sure you have reported all your taken test results if you used those provided by UHK (available at the reception of each building).

Respiratory protection

Starting from 13 March 2022, the obligation to wear respiratory protective equipment in all indoor areas of UHK buildings ceases to apply.

Accommodation in University Halls of Residence

Based on the emergency measures of the Ministry of Health of 9 February 2022, students of the UHK from 19 February are not required to prove before or during their accommodation that they have been vaccinated against the COVID-19, have had a laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 or have undergone a test for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus with a negative test result. Yet, the voluntarily testing option is still available till the end of February for UHK foreign students.

Social events

As of 1 March 2022 the ban on holding mass (social) events at the UHK or with the support of the UHK as of that date has been lifted. Thus, the organization of events of the above-mentioned nature across the UHK can be approached with caution and responsibility within the coming month.

Traveling abroad

As of 27 October 2021, the extraordinary measure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No.: MZDR 20599/2020-116/MIN/KAN of 10 September 2021, as amended by later extraordinary measures, which stipulated the obligation to restrict access to the premises of the UHK to employees and students who stayed abroad for a specified period under specified conditions, has been canceled. Consequently, these persons are no longer under a notification obligation to UHK regarding returns from abroad based on this repealed emergency measure.

Study programs abroad and internships of students of the University of Hradec Králové abroad may be carried out within the conditions set out in the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the embassies of the receiving countries. When traveling abroad, it is also necessary to inform oneself in advance about the conditions of entry, restrictions, and preventive measures of the given country. The conditions of entry to individual countries are continuously updated on the websites of the respective embassies of the Czech Republic.

Up-to-date information can be found on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

The list of countries by risk and disease level is available HERE.

In case of questions related to foreign trips, students should contact the foreign department at their faculty.
