Academic Calendar

A regular academic year at the Faculty of Education lasts from the end of September to the end of June, although the dates differ slightly each year. There are two semesters each year and we call them: the winter semester that ends before Christmas, and the summer semester which begins during the second week in February and ends in June. Each semester is followed by a five-week exam period.

Apart from the public holidays there are two major vacation periods during each academic year: Christmas vacation in December and summer vacation during July and August.
