Abstract:

Changing role of special education and quality of life in adulthood

Special pedagogy is a dynamic field of study that responds to developments in science and society and responds to the needs of practise.  In the academic paper, we will look at these changes from the perspective of the quality of life of a person with disabilities/disadvantages and the changing role of a special educator in the process of his own education. With support of research, we will focus on the position of special educator in the current inclusive school setting, his role in supporting, strengthening and guidance of an individual with the need of special educational support.
