Dean of the UHK Faculty of Education

He studied organ at the Conservatory in Pardubice and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He then completed his education at the Utrecht Academy of Art in the Netherlands.

Currently he is engaged in pedagogical and concert activities. He performs at many solo organ concerts around the world – e.g. major organ festivals in the USA, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Slovakia, Poland, etc. In addition, he has made a number of solo CDs, he films for radio and TV.

As a senior lecturer he teaches at the Music Department of the Faculty of Education of the University of Hradec Králové since 1995, where he established, among other things, new study fields Instrument Playing - Organ and Temple Music. He has been the Dean of the Faculty of Education of UHK since June 2016.

He founded the important International Music Festival - Letohrad in 1989 and he is still the artistic director of it.
