EU & International Projects

The development of the strategic areas and priorities of the University of Hradec Králové is supported through the implementation of the projects financed from the resources of the Structural Funds.

Within the programming period 2004–2006, the UHK was particularly successful under the Human Resources Development Operational Program and subsequently in the EQUAL Community Initiative Program.

In the 2007–2013 programming period, UHK, in accordance with its long-term plan, tried to make maximum use of all the possibilities offered to obtain subsidies for further development. The Operational Program Education for Competitiveness, including Individual National Projects and the Operational Program Research and Development for Innovation were the most important. UHK also joined other operational programs – e.g. OP Human Resources and Employment; OP Cross-border Cooperation Czech Republic – Republic of Poland or EEA/Norway Financial Mechanisms.

Within the programming period 2014–2020, the goal is the implementation of the development projects across the UHK’s priorities. The main source of funding was the Operational Program Research, Development, Education. UHK also participated in other operational programs during the programming period.

The programming period 2021–2027 focuses on five priorities, which coincide with the strategic plan of the UHK. They are Europe smarter, closer to citizens, more social, more connected, and greener (more sustainable).
