Program Description

This study program is focused on creating graphic designs, graphic arts, and on visual communication generally.

Students are able to use any traditional graphic techniques.

Previous Education/Experience

Completing of secondary school studies (the applicant must provide a certificate to prove previous studies, orientation on textile arts and design preferred).

Career Opportunities

Graduates can work as artists, designers, lecturers, or tutors. They are ready to teach at primary and secondary schools, where they can work as lecturers of traditional printing techniques. Graduates can also work as tutors in educational centres, collaborators in open-air museums, or lecturers at various educational events.

Admission Requirements

Entry requirements:

• • a completed application form
  • a duly certified copy of an applicant's secondary school leaving certificate in English, Czech or Slovak
  • a document proving the content and the scope of an applicant’s previous secondary school education in English, Czech or Slovak
  • a proof of language skills to study in English**
  • a signed affidavit of an applicant’s ability to
  • cover expenses related to studies and living in the Czech Republic
  • a motivation letter (min. 3600 letters)
  • CV with a relevant professional history
  • the portfolio of applicant´s work related to Graphic Arts and Graphic Design (minimum of 12 examples)
  • a copy of passport

  ** Applicants who graduated from English study programme are not obligated to demonstrate it; as well as applicants whose mother tongue is English.

  Rating:

  Portfolio:max. 75 points

  Letter of motivation: max. 25 points

  (No additional entrance tests will be administered, no oral examination).
