Erasmus+ Incoming Students: Semestral Study
Dear Erasmus students,
Welcome to the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Hradec Králové! (Erasmus ID Code: CZ HRADEC01)
We host about 50 Erasmus students from our partner universities every year. Here you can find some useful information for your application and your stay at our institution.
2026/2027 Summer Semester
The nomination deadline for the Summer Semester is October 31st, 2026.
The application deadline for the Summer Semester is November 30th, 2026.
The classes of the Summer Semester start on February 8th and end on May 9th, 2027. The exam period starts on May 10th, 2027 and continues until June 30th, 2027.
Students are expected to arrive for the Registration meeting in the first week of February 2027 and to end their mobility no later than June 30th, 2027.
The accommodation at the University Halls of Residence during the Summer Semester is available for the whole mobility duration.

Students who need visa – Visa applications must be submitted to the Embassy at least 3 months before your planned arrival. Please send your application to the University of Hradec Králové as soon as possible and ask for the relevant documents for the Visa process.

Please bear in mind that at least 75 % of your ECTS must be from Philosophical Faculty, the rest can be ECTS from courses chosen from other faculties.
To apply you need to:
- STEP 1: Be nominated by your home institution (via e-mail sent to Mgr. Iva Raková, Erasmus+ Coordinator at iva.rakova@uhk.cz) with the following attachment: nomination form.
- STEP 2: Fill in an online application that will be sent to you together with other necessary information after the nomination.

Learning Agreement for students
- It is a mandatory document that needs to be signed digitally through EWP network (Erasmus Without Paper) prior to your arrival. In case your home university is not able to sign LAs digitally, you can use a paper version. Download it here, fill it in and get it signed by your university. You can use a template provided by your university as well.
