Admission Requirements
Applicants for the doctoral study programme Economics and Management must have completed a Master’s degree in economics or in another related study programme.
The entrance examination consists of a discussion of the key subject areas of the study programme, including a discussion of the paper outlining the focus of the future doctoral dissertation, as well as an English language examination. The paper must be submitted in advance and should be 2,500–3,000 words in length. During the discussion, applicants are expected to demonstrate an overview of current economic developments, knowledge of strategic management principles, economic theory focused on consumer and firm behaviour, or knowledge of macroeconomic indicators, including their theoretical foundations and current values.
