Summer school at the Philosophical Faculty UHK:

The summer school comprise of total 80 school hours of Czech language with our professional teachers.
There are 9 academic lectures about various topics concerning the Czech Republic, it's history, society and development every other afternoon.
There is English language lessons (20 school hours in total), which are also scheduled for afternoons.
Included in the price are five Friday trips to other cities, interesting places and historical sights.
A rich social program (movie night, quiz shows, sports events, board-game night and more) during the early evenings is optional.

What is the summer school about?

The summer school is constructed for students who wish to study in the Czech Republic with the emphasis on studying at the University of Hradec Králové. During more than four weeks you will learn the basic communication in Czech language, academic communication, cultural specifics of the nation, various teaching methods in programs taught at the Philosophical Faculty, actively participate in integration and globalization and we are certain that you will meet a lot of new life-long friends.
 

Admission procedure requirements:

  • a successfully completed secondary school education proven by an attested copy of the school leaving certificate;
  • intermediate knowledge of English language;
  • signing up for the summer school in the application for your study stay at the Philosophical Faculty UHK.
