Call for Papers - Three Centuries in the Heart of Europe 2026

The Institute of History, University of Pardubice, and the Department of Auxiliary Sciences of History and Archival Studies, University of Hradec Králové, cordially invite you to the 10th anniversary edition of the international doctoral conference Three Centuries in the Heart of Europe, which will take place on 5–6 November 2026 in Pardubice and Hradec Králové.

The central theme of this anniversary edition is Aristocracy and Elites in Early Modern Europe. The conference is primarily intended for doctoral candidates; however, contributions from students enrolled in follow-up Master’s degree programmes are also welcome.

The conference language is English.

Abstracts of papers (maximum 500 words in English) should be sent by 30 July 2026 to: jakub.benko@uhk.cz. The same address may also be used for any inquiries or requests for further information.
