Statement of UHK management on the situation in Ukraine

The management of the University of Hradec Králové and the faculties of the University of Hradec Králové are following the situation in Ukraine with concern and express their clear disagreement with the actions of the Russian Federation. This is an inexcusable violation of international law and a denial of the rights and freedoms of a sovereign state on the territory of Europe. Such behavior does not belong in the civilized society of the 21st century and deserves to be rejected.

In addition to this symbolic rejection, the University of Hradec Králové is reaching out to all its employees and students of Ukrainian nationality, who could be imminently threatened by the aggression and the situation in Ukraine.

The University of Hradec Kralove and the faculties of the UHK stand proudly and firmly behind the territorial integrity of Ukraine and are ready to help. The UHK keeps thinking of its students and staff threatened by this unprecedented security crisis.
