Extra measures concerning movement on UHK

To increase security at the UHK and because of the higher incidence of thefts on the UHK premises, access to the university buildings is restricted until further notice as follows:

  • The main entrances to buildings(Faculty of Science, UHK) and building J (Faculty of Informatics and Management, UHK) will be secured with turnstiles, i.e., only students and employees cardholders will be allowed to enter the building. The rear entrances are accessible only with a valid card or through the reception desk bell. The entrances via the corridors between buildings S and J will only be available with a valid staff or student card.
  • The main entrance of building A (the Common Education Facility) is protected with increased security control by receptionists, the access from the Research Library side for persons with limited mobility is accessible after pressing the reception desk bell, entrance from Václav Havel square is accessible with a valid card, the service entrance for supplies will be temporarily closed.
  • If staff or students forget their card, they will report this fact to the reception of the respective building and will be granted access.

For your convenience, see the orientation plan below.

Thank you for respecting this specific measure. Its implementation results from increased theft cases and the movement of unauthorized persons at the UHK.
