Students gain the ability to analyse various cultural phenomena, and to understand them in a broader historical

and social context. Students are able to understand culture; understand a humankind and consciousness of

common human reciprocity.

Admission Requirements

  • an application form
  • a verified copy of your secondary school leaving certificate in English *
  • a document proving the content and the scope of your previous secondary school education *
  • a document proving that the school where previous studies were obtained is recognised as a part of the educational system in the foreign country *
  • a confirmation of the language competence to study in English
  • a study-related letter (=answers to the following questions):

    1. Briefly present the main factors, that motivate you to study Transcultural communication.

    2. Briefly present the basic premises of cultural and social anthropology, as you understand them based on your previous study.

    3. Choose one book of academic or scientific literature you have read recently and briefly present its outline.
  • a copy of passport

* the authenticity of these documents have to be verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the foreign country and by the Czech embassy (or obtained with apostille). The documents are object to comparison to the Czech educational system
