Summer trip contest
Summer is here! The weather is great, days are getting longer that means it is a perfect time for a trip. Use this opportunity to discover the Czech Republic and get a prize!
Are you a student of the Philosophical faculty of UHK and are you still in the Czech Republic? Then we have a great offer for you! Plan your trip, grab a camera or a mobile phone, make a video and win a prize! Make a trip to an interesting destination in the Czech Republic (but outside of Hradec Králové) according to your choice, and film your journey to inspire others. Tell us a short description of your trip including way of transport, name of your destination, why did you choose this place and why do you think that others should visit it as well.
(Be careful about the regions currently affected by the COVID-19 such as Prague and Karviná. Before travelling to anywhere check the current situation in the given place!)
All submitted videos will be evaluated by a jury and the best will be awarded! Prizes: 1st 2000 CZK, 2nd 1000 CZK, 3rd a small gift
The requirements for the video:
- The video should be presenting your trip including the destination, that should be clearly visible in the video
- language used in the video: English
- length: 2 - 3 minutes
- resolution: at least 1280x720
- orientation: landscape (widescreen)
Send your video to josef.lezak@uhk.cz; and as a subject of the e-mail write Summer trip contest. By sending the video, the student also agrees with its potential further use for promotional purposes by the Philosophical faculty of the University of Hradec Králové.

As an inspiration, you can use the website https://www.hkregion.cz/ where you can find places of interest in the Hradec Králové region, but of course it is completely up to you! There are no limitations to where you should go and what place you should visit.
