Making audio-visual recordings of the classes by the FF UHK students

Art. 1 – Introductory provisions

  1. This decree determines the possibilities of making audio-visual recordings of lectures, seminars, workshops, practical training, excursions and field training, (hereinafter just “classes”) of study subjects of accredited study programmes for students of the Philosophical faculty University of Hradec Králové (hereinafter “FF UHK”).
  2. This decree does not apply to the students´ audio-visual outputs and works that originate during specialized classes of the subjects whose content is under the supervision of a lecturer directly intended for creating such a type of students´ outputs.
  3. This decree does not apply to students´ audio-visual outputs and work that are not exactly a content of a specific subject , but are directly recommended to student by the lecturer within a class or its reflection  (e.g. in case of subjects like excursions practical training etc.)

Art. 2 – Rights and duties of the students

  1. The student cannot make any audio-visual recording of the class without the consent of the lecturer.
  2. The student can ask the lecturer for permission to make an audio-visual recording of the class for his/her own use. If the lecturer gives the student permission to make an audio-visual recording of the class, the student is obliged to keep this recording for his/her own use only and not to provide the recording to other people. The student cannot share the audio-visual recording through other audio-visual media or Internet.
  3. The request of the student in accordance with the Article 2, paragraph 2 of this decree does not give any entitlement to make the audio-visual recording of the class. Any decision of the lecturer about the student´s request to make the audio-visual recording of his/her class is final.

Art. 3 – Final provision

  1. This decree applies for the fulltime and part-time form of studies.
  2. This decree applies for face-to-face and distant form of studies including classes realized through programmes and software tools of the Internet („online classes“).
  3. Violation of this decree will be judged as violation of the Ethical codex of the University of Hradec Králové, paragraph VII.

This decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication at the official notice board.
