FF UHK held a kick-off meeting for a new Erasmus+ KA2 project.

Author: Josef Ležák

On February 23 and 24, our faculty hosted the Kick-off meeting for the Erasmus+ project "Transdisciplinary approaches to Archaeological Heritage project". The two-day meeting allowed us to meet our partners from the Croatian University of Zagreb and the French University of Burgundy, with whom we will create the syllabus for a unique study programme with a multi-disciplinary focus "Manager of Archaeological Heritage" within the next three years.

The newly emerging field will also emphasize digitalization and soft skills as an essential part of modern curricula, which will be achieved, among other things, by creating an online platform and organizing a professional conference. In addition, the project will provide an opportunity for several students from all partner institutions to participate in planned workshops dedicated to various topics.

Although we already had the opportunity to meet online in the past, we are glad that we could host our colleagues for at least two days in Hradec Králové. We believe physical meetings are still the most effective way to communicate and overcome possible obstacles that may arise. In addition, they allow us to establish closer ties with our colleagues from abroad. For these reasons, we are also looking forward to the following physical meeting, which should take place this September in Croatia.

This event was part of a project "Transdisciplinary Approaches to Archaeological Heritage" (2022-1-CZ01-KA220-HED-000088039) that has been funded with support from the European Commission.
