Have you been selected by your home university for studying abroad at the Faculty of Science within within the scope of one of these programmes and nominated via our e-nomination system? If so, please read the information below carefully. (If you have not been nominated yet, please contact your home university).

 

 

Application Procedure

After your home university has nominated you for the student exchange at the Faculty of Science, you can follow the instructions below.  

 

 

 

Your application for the student exchange consists of:

  •  application form (will be sent to you after your nomination)
  •  learning agreement signed by your home university (will be sent to you after your nomination)
  •  motivation letter
  •  transcript of records
  •  application for the student card
  •  scan of your passport
  •  scan of your colour photo (passport size photo - 3,5 x 4,5 cm)
  •  copy of the personal accident insurance and liability insurance

 

Planning and selecting courses:

The Faculty of Science of the University of Hradec Králové offers about 200 courses to incoming exchange students that are taught in English.

We understand that courses are a very important part of your exchange, so we will try to provide you all the information you need to know about the courses and to suit you the best way. Go directly to our Course catalogue.

Choose courses and fill them in your LA.

Application Deadlines

Winter term or whole academic year: June 1
Summer term: December 1

Note: Your nomination and all documents have to be submitted to the Faculty of Science no later than by the aforementioned deadline of the application.

 

Applying for a Student Visa

Applicants outside the European Union who want to study at our Faculty must have a visa. After you receive the invitation letter and all other forms from us, you can apply for the visa at the relevant Czech Embassy/Consulate in your home country. Please note, that the visa procedure is very complex and time consuming, that is why you need to start arranging it immediately.

Visa applications must be submitted to the Embassy at least 3 months before the planned arrival.
