Extraordinary Scholarship
An extraordinary scholarship is a one-time scholarship that may be awarded particularly:
a) for significant scientific, research, development, artistic, or other creative achievements,
b) for research, development, and innovation activities under a special regulation,
c) as assistance in an exceptionally difficult social situation of a student, if the provision of § 91 paragraph 3 of the Act does not apply,
d) in cases worthy of special consideration (as specified in the Scholarship Regulations),
e) to support study abroad within a programme supported by UHK,
f) to support study in the Czech Republic.
An extraordinary scholarship is usually awarded upon the student’s request, or upon the proposal of the head of the relevant department, the director of an institute, or a vice-dean. An extraordinary scholarship may be awarded repeatedly.
