On Friday, February 2, 2024 we organized welcome meeting for new foreign students attending FIM in the Summer semester 2024.
In total 50 foreign students participate in Erasmus+ Program (23), Erasmus+ International Credit Program (1) or their stay is based on a Bilateral Agreement (26) are coming from Europe, Asia, Latin America and USA.
This welcome meeting gave us the opportunity to meet the students in person, to pass on information about the faculty and studies and of course to inform them about events that will take place from February until June of this year. We took a short tour around the faculty to get to know this building better. The raffle that took place at the end of the meeting was fun.
Together with ESN, we prepared an interesting program for them and the main goal is to help them get used to the new environment because they will spend here almost 5 months.
Students cannot miss the party called “Modrý mejdlo” where all FIM´s students will meet. And of course, the race called “Academic Run” which will take place in April and each participant helps the FIM win the cup. Every head counts!
We hope that our foreign students will enjoy their study stay in Hradec Králové and we wish them a great time and of course good luck with studies.
