A Wonderful visit from our partner – Ege University, Turkey

This visit was truly fruitful, as Dr. Karagaǧ delivered several lectures to our undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students. She also met with Vice-Dean Prof. Blanka Klímová, Dr. Jana Medková (Head of the Department of Informatics and Quantitative Methods) and academics of the department. The department meetings & seminar were held on December 10^th and 11th where we also discussed the possibility of working together on joint international projects, such as KA220, where she could apply her knowledge of statistics, as well as the opportunity to collaborate on joint publications.

My Erasmus teaching visit from the Department of Statistics at Ege University to Hradec Králové was extremely pleasant and productive. I was deeply impressed by the warm welcome I received from the students and academic staff, especially the Vice-Dean. In this friendly atmosphere, we also had the opportunity to discuss potential future collaboration opportunities. My experience in Hradec Králové was truly enriching, both academically and culturally.
