The 4th year of the Blended Intensive Program
Blended Intensive Program 2026 is completed and we can evaluate it positively.
This year, we focused on Intercultural studies with specialization on Taxation. The first online lecture delivered by Prof. Blanka Klímová was followed by two online lectures, conducted by Assoc. Prof. Jan Mačí, on “Taxation in general”, “History of taxation” and “Cultural and regional differences in taxation” topics. Assoc. Prof. Marcel Pikhart´s lecture on “Intercultural business communication” continued nicely the previous lecture.
It was the first time when we hosted a foreign professor Mr. Mark Romanelli, from Fachhochschule Kufstein Tirol who gave a lecture on “Cross-Cultural Management – Different Cultures, Different Rules” topic.
All students also successfully completed their presentations and during the last lecture delivered by Prof. Josef Hynek, they learned that failure is not as serious as it may seem.
The lecture “The Art of Failure”, showed that failure is normal and we can learn from it.
Seventeen students coming from Lithuania, Austria and Romania participated in this program for students and beside the lectures they visited many interesting places in Czechia.
They spent a lovely day in Adršpach (the rock town), went sightseeing in Hradec Králové and they visited Kutná Hora on Friday. To get to know more about the culture and traditions, the students took a tour at RAUTIS company, which produces beads and ornaments. This tour included workshop too.
Sunny weather and temperatures above 25°C made the whole week nicer and everyone enjoyed it.
