Professor Gerhard M. Feldmeier Visits FIM UHK

On 3-4 November 2026, the Faculty of Informatics and Management at the University of Hradec Králové welcomed Prof. Gerhard M. Feldmeier from Hochschule Bremerhaven - University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Prof. Feldmeier works as the Dean of the Faculty of Management and Information Systems and as the Institutional Representative for International Cooperation. We are also very pleased to have him as one of our visiting professors.
During his visit, Prof. Feldmeier met with the Dean, Prof. Petra Marešová, Vice-Deans Prof. Blanka Klímová and Dr. Jan Mačí, as well as with other colleagues from the faculty, to discuss current cooperation and opportunities for further strengthening the partnership between the two institutions. One of the topics was the possibility of establishing a Double Degree programme in Economics and Management, which would enable students to obtain degrees from both universities and further strengthen the international dimension of their studies.
A key part of the visit consisted of lectures delivered to FIM students. Prof. Feldmeier contributed to the courses Microeconomics I and International Trade, where he shared valuable international perspectives and practical insights with students.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity for academic exchange, networking, and the development of future collaborative activities between the University of Hradec Králové and Hochschule Bremerhaven.
We highly appreciate Prof. Feldmeier's contribution to our students, academic community, and the further development of international cooperation between our institutions, and we look forward to continuing our successful collaboration in the future.
