FIM UHK Strengthens International Cooperation with Hanoi Law University
On 13 October 2026, the Faculty of Informatics and Management at the University of Hradec Králové (FIM UHK) welcomed a delegation from Hanoi Law University (HLU), Vietnam, led by Vice-Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Binh and Dean of the Faculty of Economic Law Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Tuyen.
Established in 1979, Hanoi Law University is a prominent Vietnamese institution specializing in legal education and research. The university operates across three campuses, offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree programs, and actively develops international academic partnerships.
During the visit, the delegation met with Prof. Petra Marešová, Dean of FIM UHK, vice-deans, and heads of departments. The discussions focused on opportunities to strengthen academic cooperation, exchange expertise, and develop a long-term partnership between the two institutions. Potential areas of collaboration include joint educational and research activities, as well as international mobility opportunities for students and academic staff.
An important outcome of the meeting was an agreement to prepare a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which will establish a formal framework for further cooperation between the two universities.
We look forward to the new opportunities this partnership will bring to our students, academic staff, and both universities.
