CZECH IT OUT 2026 Welcomed 87 International Participants to Hradec Králové

Date of Event: 08/13/2026–07/31/2027

From 13 July to 10 August 2026, the Faculty of Informatics and Management at the University of Hradec Králové hosted another edition of its international summer school, CZECH IT OUT. This year, the programme welcomed 87 participants from Taiwan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, South Korea, China, the United States, and Morocco, creating a diverse international environment at the Faculty for four weeks.

The programme was taught in English and offered four main study streams: Intercultural Studies and Tourism, Marketing and Cultural Studies, Data Science, and Languages and Culture. Participants could also choose optional courses covering topics such as applied game theory, communication in crisis situations, artificial intelligence in education, marketing, and languages.

That’s it. Summer school was fun because I took advertising in my uni. And to learn more about marketing stuff, is actually adds more knowledge to what I have. And yeah, I also like the way the teachers are teaching. And also, the way you learn. To schedule all the trips are also good.

CZECH IT OUT was about much more than classroom learning. Regular field trips, excursions, and opportunities to explore the Czech Republic allowed participants to combine their studies with cultural discovery and international exchange. Those who successfully completed the programme received a Certificate of Participation and six credits in the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS).

Yeah, it was really good. It gave us a lot of opportunities to visit like other cities and other countries. We learned about European culture. We had like an open vision about Europe and especially the Czech people and Czech culture. So, yeah, I recommend this for everyone who wants to do a summer school here. It is really nice and you are to enjoy.

CZECH IT OUT 2026 once again demonstrated how a summer school can bring together academic learning, international friendships, and first-hand experience of Czech culture, while connecting students from different parts of the world in Hradec Králové.

We definitely recommend anyone who´s thinking about it to just do it. For us, it was like a very good experience.
