FoS students will study in Japan

Cooperation in mathematical physics between prof. Taksu Cheon and prof. Peter Šeba, that has began almost twenty years ago, has concluded in a new way.

Japanese Kochi University of Technology now offers students and academics from the FoS (and not only to them) possibilities of studying and research collaboration in many areas.

A new contract was signed that would allow new student exchange programs in natural sciences, economics and management to take place. Kochi University of Technology is located on Shikoku Island in Kochi Prefecture and represents significant and top-rated research institution. It is also Japan's first university to sign a cooperation agreement with the UHK.

In the field of research, apart from the already existing contacts in mathematical physics, the interests of both universities coincide, for example in the monitoring of forest with drones, botany or processing of data.
