Taiwo Temitope Lasisi, Ph.D. (Department of Recreology and Tourism - FIM UHK  08/2021 – so far)

dr. LasisiTaiwo is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Tourism and Hotel Management at Bahçeşehir Cyprus University (Nicosia, TRNC, TURKEY) and a Postdoctoral researcher at Department of Recreology and Tourism, Faculty of Informatics and Management in University of Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. Her research interest includes brand management, organization behavior, human resource management, creative working environment, environmental sustainability, economic modelling and policies. She has published in several professional journals like Current Issues in Tourism, Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Management, among others.

Mgr.  Samuel Amponsah Odei, Ph.D. (Department of Economics, FIM UHK - 09/2021- so far)

Samuel OdeiOdei Amponsah Samuel is an alumnus of the Univerzita Pardubice with a doctoral degree in Economic Policy and Administration obtained in 2019. He was previously a lecturer at the Chiang Mai University, School of Public Policy in Thailand from 2020 to 2021. His research spans around Economic Geography. He has about five years’ experience in conducting research on territorial innovations, open innovations, knowledge transfers, higher educational institutions innovations. As part of his postdoctoral research, he is currently analysing the factors driving and sustaining regional and firm-level innovations in the Visegrád Four economies. He has published in several international peer reviewed journals and presented at various innovation and knowledge management conferences across Europe.

Samma Faiz Rasool, Ph.D. (Department of Management, FIM UHK - 02/2022 - so far)

Samma RasoolDr. Samma Faiz Rasool is working as Research Scientist at the Department of Management, Faculty of Informatics and Management, University of Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. He also has completed his Post-doctorate from Guangzhou University, China. Moreover, he received his PhD in Management from the School of Management, Shanghai University, China. His research focuses on organizational behavior, strategic management, human resource management, project management, information technology capabilities and green innovations. He has widely published in peer-reviewed impact factor journals, such as Energy, Energy Policy, Journal of Knowledge Management, Environment and Sustainable Development and Journal of Cleaner Production. Dr. Samma is also an editor of some well-known impact factor journals such as Psychology Research and Behaviour Management, SAGE open, Frontier in Psychology and sustainability. He is a well-versed academician and development professional having 12 years of industry, academia, and development experience.

Vimal Bhatia (FIM UHK - 06/2022 - so far)

Samma RasoolVimal Bhatia (SM’12, FIETE, FOSI) is currently working as a Professor with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore, India, and is an adjunct faculty at IIT Delhi and IIIT Delhi, India. He received Ph.D. degree from Institute for Digital Communications with The University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, U.K., in 2005. During Ph.D. he also received the IEE fellowship for collaborative research at the  Department of Systems and Computer Engineering, Carleton University, Canada, and is Young Faculty Research Fellow from MeitY, Govt of India. He is also a recepient of Prof SVC Aiya Memorial Award (2019). He has worked with various IT companies for over 11 years both in India and the UK. He is a PI/co-PI/coordinator for external projects with funding of over USD 20 million from MeitY, DST, UKIERI, MoE, AKA, IUSSTF and KPMG. He has more than 300 peer reviewed publications, and has filed 13 patents (with 5 granted). He has supervised 18 defended/submitted PhD thesis. His research interests are in the broader areas of communications, non-Gaussian non-parametric signal processing, machine/deep learning with applications to communications and photonics. He is a reviewer for IEEE, Elsevier, Wiley, Springer, and IET. He is currently Senior Member of IEEE, Fellow IETE and certified SCRUM Master. He was also the General Co-Chair for IEEE ANTS 2018, and General Vice-Chair for IEEE ANTS 2017. He has served as founder head of Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Associate Dean R&D and Dean, Academic Affairs. He has delivered many talks, tutorials and conducted faculty development programs for the World Bank’s NPIU TEQIP-III and invited talk at WWRF46-Paris. He is currently Associate Editor for IETE Technical Review, Frontiers in Communications and Networks, Frontiers in Signal Processing, and IEEE Wireless Communications Letters.

 

Abdulmalik Shehu Yaro (Department of Informatics and Quantitative Methods, FIM UHK - 09/2022 - so far)

Abdulmalik Shehu Yaro obtained his doctorate degree from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia in 2018 and a Kaufman Teaching Certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, United States (US) in 2020. He was a Research fellow at the Centre for International Studies (CIS) under the MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI) Empowering the Teachers (ETT) program.  He is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria, and postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Informatics and Quantitative Methods, Faculty of Informatics and Management, University of Hradec Králové working on RSS based fingerprinting for indoor localization. Abdulmalik Shehu Yaro has published several articles in reputable journals and conferences locally and internationally within his areas of interest.

Hamad Naeem (Centre for Basic and Applied Research, FIM UHK - 01/2024 - so far)

 

Hamad Naeem was an associate professor in the College of Computer Science and Technology at Zhoukou Normal University in China. He received his PhD degree in software engineering from College of computer science and software engineering, Sichuan University Chengdu, P.R. China in 2019. He is the senior guest editor of the special issue of Journal of Cyber Security Technology and Journal of Imaging Science and Technology (JIST). He is on the editorial board of KSII Transactions on Internet and information systems (TIIS), Security and Communication Networks Journal (SCN), Journal of Digital Crime and Forensics (IJDCF) and Frontiers in Communications and Networks. During his tenure, he was awarded the Top 10 Researchers Award by Neijiang Normal University, Neijiang, China in 2020. In 2023, he was ranked among the top 2% most cited researchers on a list compiled by Stanford University. His research papers are published in various reputed journals by IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, MDPI and Hindawi.

 

Albert John (Department of Management, FIM UHK - 01/2024 - so far)

 

 Dr. Albert John is an Assistant Professor and Program Manager at the University of Lahore, Pakistan, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Hradec Kralove, Faculty of Informatics and Management. He has earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration, with a specialization in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Human Resource Management (HRM) from the National College of Business Administration and Economics, Lahore, Pakistan.

With over six years of post-Ph.D. teaching experience, Dr. John has actively participated in various research projects in interdisciplinary fields, resulting in publications in several prestigious peer-reviewed journals. His scholarly contributions include publications in the Social Responsibility Journal, Journal of Cleaner Production, The Service Industries Journal, and Current Psychology.

Dr. John's research interests are deeply rooted in the significance of sustainable and green practices within organizational contexts and their impact on stakeholders. He is recognized for his mild extroversion, conscientiousness, and openness to experience, which enrich his role as a team player and self-regulated professional. Dr. John continues to contribute to academia and the broader community through his commitment to sustainability and organizational well-being.

 

Richard Gardiner (Department of Management, FIM UHK - 01/2024 - so far)

 Richard Gardiner is a PhD graduate at the University of Pardubice. He received his PhD in Economic Policy and Administration from the University of Pardubice in 2021. His research area is sustainable regional development. He has extensive experience in modelling economic, environmental and social issues and statistics, and has been researching the 3 main pillars of sustainable development and its indicators for more than 6 years. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Hradec at the Faculty of Informatics and Management.

His research interests focus on energy and environmental sustainability, organizational behavior, human resource management, project management and modeling of economic and environmental problems and policies. He actively participates in presentations at international conferences, networking with academics across Europe to share ideas and establish contacts within academic circles. He has published in peer-reviewed journals with high impact factor within his area of expertise.
