General information

As a foreign student, you will find a warm welcome at Philosophical Faculty, University of Hradec Králové.
 
Our academic year has two terms (=semesters): winter term starts in the second part of September and ends at the begining of February, summer term starts in early February and ends in June.

Every term we host about 50-80 international students - Erasmus European students, students from International Credit Mobility (= Erasmus outside Europe),  Non-European exchange students via bilateral agreement and degree students. Please respect the application deadlines - look at your programme (select the programme on the left side of this page).

Out international team has five members: The international office is in the second floor of the building of Philosophical Faculty.

There are several foreign experts coming to the Philosophical Faculty of UHK and contributing to our offer of courses with their interesting topics each term.

Summer term 2017/2018

Prof. Stipica Grgić (University of Zagreb, Croatia)

The course will be held regularly on Wednesday from 10:45am till 12:20pm in the room B10.

course name: Southeastern Europe in the first half of the 20th Century (code: HIU/SEE20)
The course will be held regularly on Wednesday from 12:25pm till 2pm in the room B10.

Prof. Asdrubal René Sotelo Niño (National Autonomous University of Nicaragua-León)
course name: Human Rights and its use and acceptance in internal legislation, in the Central American Integration System (code: KP/HRCAM)
The course will be held on Fridays 23 February and 2 March from 9:05am till 3:40pm (with break) in the room B2.

Prof. Adams Godfrey Ramogi Oloo (University of Nairobi, Kenya)
course name: Politics and Government in Kenya (code: KP/POGKE)
The course will be held on Monday 26 February from 12:25pm till 7:00pm (with break) in the room B3 and on Monday 5 March from 12:25pm till 7pm (with break) in the room B3.

Prof. Gary Kemp (University of Glasgow, Scotland)

The course will be held regularly on Wednesday from 9:55am till 11:30am in the room B14.
Important information: Course is recommended only to those students familiar with works of W. V. Quine!

Prof. Gertrudes Silva de Oliveira (Jean Piaget University of Cape Verde)

Prof. José de la Cruz Garrido Fuchslocher (University of Development (UDD), Chile)

Prof. Peter Trebsche (University of Vienna, Austria)
course name: Iron Age in Austria (code: ARCH/QPTAU)
The course will be held on Tuesdays 20.2., 27.3. and 24.4.2018 and on Thursday 10.5.2018, each day from 9:05am till 11:30am in the room number 21011 - it is the boardroom of Department of Archaeology, located in the building B, on ground floor in the left corner (from the glass door).

the course will be held on Tuesdays 20.2., 27.3. and 24.4.2018 and on Thursday 10.5.2018, each day from 12:20pm till 2:50pm in the room number 21011 - it is the boardroom of Department of Archaeology, located in the building B, on ground floor in the left corner (from the glass door).
