Palach Halls of Residence are situated in the suburbs of Nový Hradec Králové, Palachova třída 1129 – 1135. It deals with blocks of flats consisting of 7 separate blocks A- G. There are two-room flats.
The Halls of Residence are easily accessible by public transport (city buses no. 24 and 28 from the bus and railway station, or no. 23 and 27 from Slezské suburbs). Get off at “Palachova” bus stop. City bus timetable at http://www.dpmhk.cz/
If you go by car to the halls of residence, go through Hradec Králové direction BRNO, OLOMOUC. After roundabout you get to the crossroads with the traffic lights (there is “Tesco” shopping centre on your left). Drive straight ahead and on the next traffic lights, turn to the right. (*) After about 150 m, turn to the right again before “Albert” supermarket. Do not drive in a parking lot of this supermarket. Take the next turning left, after 100 m you will see Palach Hall of Residence on your left. There is a large parking lot in front of the halls where you can park your car. You can recognize the halls of residence easily as their façade is bright yellow-orange. If you arrive direction from Brno or Olomouc, go across the first crossroads, continue straight ahead. Then you come to the next crossroads, there turn to the left. Then follow the directions given (*) further.
These halls of residence are located in a multifunctional building of University of Hradec Králové. There are lecture rooms and other educational facilities as well.
Vít Nejedlý Halls of Residence are accessible by a city bus no. 5 from the bus and railway station. Get off at “Tesla” bus stop.
If you go by car, go through Hradec Králové direction OSTRAVA. After turning to follow this road direction Ostrava, there is SHELL petrol station on your right. Just after this petrol station, turn right and there is a three- storey building on your right. If you go direction from OSTRAVA, drive past Interspar shopping centre, notice the Shell petrol station on the left. As it is not possible to turn to the left in this direction, it is recommended to turn left on the crossroads with traffic lights, go over the bridge and turn right after a football stadium. Then continue over a flyover to the opposite direction and go back to the crossroads where you turn right and get to SHELL petrol station.
