Applied Informatics
The Bachelor´s degree study programme in Applied Informatics provides
the grounding necessary for careers in computer systems (including both
hardware and software aspects) and in sophisticated applications of
computers. It also provides a substantial background for the follow-on
Master´s degree programme.
Information Management
The Bachelor’s degree study programme in Information Management is
particularly well suited to students who wish to understand the
problems of information management systems with quantitative precision.
The programme provides preparation for graduate study in information
management, while at the same time providing students with a competitive
advantage in the labour market directly after graduation. A number of
elective subjects are included in the curriculum so that the student may
concentrate on management, information technology or operations
research.
Students in the three-year
Bachelor’s degree programme of studies have broad opportunities for
self-employment and professional services in industries, businesses and
services. The best graduates of the Bachelor’s degree programme can
continue their studies in the two-year Master’s degree programme at FIM
or other universities in the Czech Republic or abroad.
The tuition fee for one academic year is 3000 EUR.
