Hradec IT Klastr (HIT Cluster) is an association of companies and institutions operating in the area of information technologies, and the University of Hradec Králové is one of the founding members. Since 2008, Hradec IT Klastr associates body corporates conducting business in the field of information technologies and other related services with secondary schools, universities and non-governmental organizations that deal with information technologies. The aim of the association is research, development, innovation and cooperation with secondary schools, universities and research institutions, advertisement of IT, counselling, education and employment development.
Petra Poulová, the vice-dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Management of the University of Hradec Králové, has been the chairperson of the association since its foundation.
